Continuity.

Continuity: Continuity is a necessity to filming. Continuity is when each clip in a film follows one another so that it is flowing. Continuity editing gives the effect of lots of different cameras being used, and it makes the clips used more realistic and flowing, so that the film shows a continuous story. Continuity is important to filming especially with only using one camera because it shows professionalism, and makes filming look mature and thought out. It means that when the audience watches the film, they do not even realize that there are lots of different camera angles used, and it gives a certain effect to a film. The continuity of a film should not be noticeable to the audience, the transitions into each shot should not be obvious but subtle so that the audience do not realise each shot is going into another.
